Killers (2010)

Directed by: Robert Luketic

Written by: Bob DeRosa

Starring: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, Catherine O'Hara

Fairly entertaining due to the action scenes, it's not the best movie to provide an entertaining story though. It didn't excite me, although it did have its extremely funny parts. The paring between Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher was not believable. Jen Kornfeldt , played by Katherine Heigl , over powers Spencer Aimes, played by Ashton Kutcher, character by far. It could have been that is how they wanted the actors to play the roles but I honestly don't think that Ashton could carry himself next to Katherine. The love scenes where too "lovey dovey", you could tell they were acting-fake. It fell flat for me.

As for the story, there was really no story... it was pretty laid out from the beginning and the trailer. We knew that he was a secret agent and that Jen was going to get herself into a mess with Spensers past. Anyway, there was a twist, that did surprise me. I'm not gonna give it up but it was a surprise and I'm not talking about the ending because that was a given half way through the movie or even from the beginning. The movie was packed with action which was semi entertaining. I am pretty disappointed by Ashton's performance entirely, BUT... for those of you who like Ashton Kutcher you will love this movie.

Katherine Heigl was in a league of her own in this movie. She was witty and charming and completely blond at moments. I think I could relate to her character and that made her more enjoyable to watch. Her corniness in this movie made the funny parts funny. Her mother Mrs. Kornfeldt, played by Catherine O'Hara, was a great character to watch too! She was awesome.

This movie felt like a Mr. & Mrs. Smith low budget knock off. If you watch it you'll understand. This movie is a PG-13 movie, they used their one F-word at the end and made it extremely obvious. I'd rate this a 3 bunnies. It's entertaining but a movie you can wait to see. The trailer was well made and Katherine Heigl is becoming one of Americas Sweethearts, so I don't blame you for going to watch this movie.

Over all the movie is good, it happens to be charming, witty, and action packed from the beginning. Enjoy the movie ;)
