If you watched the trailer you would know that it's worded a little weird -

"...Comes a special needs girl...with a special need...to kick some ass!"

It sounds ridiculous and sounds cheesy and looks cheap and looks fake and not worth your time, but let me tell you, this movie is worth every minute you spend watching it. If you are a fan of action movies and old kung-fu movies you are going to love Chocolate. I first saw it on netflix, (I love netflix) I saw the preview a few years back on TV ON Demand but I too judged a movie by its trailer. I don't know how I came across it in Netflix again but I'm glad I did.

The beginning is a little slow and the story starts off week, it does however start off with a little supence and action so it's not too bad. Personally I enjoy watching subtitled movies, if you don't like watching subtitled movies watch Chocolate anyway, there is not much dialogue. It's packed with awesome stunts and action, you WILL fall in love with this movie. All the flaws in this movie are made up with the awesome fight scenes and Zen, played by Yanin "Jeeja" Vismistananada, is a diamond in the rough. She is beautiful as she is deadly. What a gorgeous girl with such talent, not only can she kick ass in real life but she can act!! This movie reminds me the older Jakie Chan movies.

Some parts of Chocolate you can tell that they are stunts but the hits look so real that when you're watching it, you are totally invested in each kick and punch and when a "bad guy" gets "it" you feel that too! It's exciting from beginning to end. I don't think that they used any type of padding for these stunt men, there are some parts that you can tell are totally fake but everything else is just way too real. Her fighting style is Muay Tai, she literally flies at her enemies. I'm a newbie to Muay Tai so it's all amazing to me but if you have seen the style before I think you'll still be surprised.

I wonder how many stuntmen they went through to make this movie possible... it all seemed pretty brutal, it's not gory, just people getting the shit kicked out of them.

She is in another movie called Raging Phoenix and if anyone knows where I can rent or get it leave me a comment. I'm hooked on this Actress and I'm excited to see what she will come out with next.
